How to watch downloaded movies (PC)
Copy all file parts you want to download and past it into FreeRapid Donwloader. FRD will do the rest for you, no need to wait between parts.

TO JOIN FILE ON MAC
To join files on a mac- use Split&Concat or/and UnRarX. if the first file in a list is an .exe file change it (the extension) to .rar and use UnRarX to join the files. by LOKI THE LION.

After joining movies parts watch them on KMPLAYER or VLC PLAYER. These PLAYERS will play all kind of video file with no need of converting them. You also can edit SUBTITLES color, size, sincronization etc. The best players around. I recommend donwloading both players, as some movies may not be compatible with KM but can be with VLC and vice-verse.

TIP: If a movie has already other language hardcoded sub, see the following:
1) Playing with KM player, call the file with the movie.
2) Right click on screen and choose "subtitles" then "draw to overlay surface".
DONE! Your new soft sub has now a dark stripe covering the hardcoded sub.

HOW TO WATCH A RMVB MOVIE WITH EXTERNAL SUBTITLES?
Step 1: Download REAL ALTERNATIVE and install it.
Step 2: Download VOBSUB and install it.
Step 3: Put the RMVB movie + subtitles in the same folder, with the same name as below;
ie: funny girl.rm (movie)
funny girl.srt (subtitles)
Step 4: Open your movie with Windows Media Player. That's it, doing this subtitles will be loaded automatically.

could you pls give me some advice on how to install the free rapid downloader on a mac? the link to the website you mention does not seem to be very helpful. Other than that, thank you ever so much for everything!!

Sorry, commented on wrong subject. Shouldn't have to download rapid downloader manager, on a Mac - just download and have something like Stuffit to unzip the file, although Stuffit doesn't work efficiently when download is in two parts, so may have to get something to join the parts. Just a comment.
