Set in the Philippines, Stray Cats is an imaginative parody on adult romantic relationships. Gay Boyet and straight Martha are neighbors, and best buddies. The film depicts how these two hopelessly romantic friends negotiate for fair and equal treatment by their respective lovers, and how eventually they both liberate themselves from their "romantic traps." Boyet deals with elusive his elusive and sometimes "straight" boyfriend" Dom, while Martha is frustrated with her long term affair with the handsome and also elusive Steve.
