A very powerful movie. A small example of what means to be gay in Greece (things have being improved a little bit ever since though).
If you are that kind of a gay! Its a shame...
Has nothing to do with how Greece is arround those things now(thats 30+ years ago).A modern gay trans film which won some awards and shows somehow greece now is STRELLA
I am sorry but i beg to differ! There's still a lot of racism in Greece.
I didnt say we are Netherlands at things like that but nothing close to what this old film shows(and with an awful leader actor....very bad).
Iam a travest. and i was at my hometown-village at summer and didnt have any problems(maybe some people talked behind me thats all...).It was a true story which was OVERDONE made on a film only to shock.
When millions of illegal immigrants which kill for 10 euro are arround(mostly) Athens do u think the Greeks care for the gays....!
Since i am living in Athens and have witnessed racism on first hand i can safely say that i can have a more solid opinion on the matter.
Don't know what village are you talking about but i really ( and i mean really) want to go there!
As for whatever the lead actor is good or not, it's an entirely objective matter!
